UK benefits are paid by the government to those who are in need and the government is able to do this by taxing hard working British tax payers. This process is complicated and if you are in need of these benefits you will have paid tax in the past and quite rightly feel that you deserve them but unfortunately quite often there will be administrative hurdles to overcome. In the digital age companies and governments seem to go out of their way to avoid you speaking to a real person. These organisations hide behind their websites building walls between you and them by using automated telephone systems, online chat systems. Email forms. It is very difficult to get to speak to a human being especially if you want to complain. If you have found the service provided by the Department for Work and Pensions to be less than perfect you should complain at the first opportunity. This is your right and you should not shy away from it.
